Jan 2025
In January 2025 we had a restocking of the Sakamata Shad Heavy Weight 5″, 6″, 7″, 8″ and Sakamata Shad 7″,8″ from deps. No new items but the popular Sakamata Shad was stocked in.

Winter brought some exciting action for cold-water bass anglers. Major League Fishing pro Jordan Collom has been catching bass on desert lakes using lipless crankbaits, a proven tactic for triggering reaction bites quickly. February spotlighted winter striper action, with the AA’s Bad Bubba Shad Swimbait featured on Wired2fish.com in Nick Petrou’s article “Holdover Stripers: Tapping Into a Sleeper Winter Bass Fishery.” Known for producing double hookups on umbrella rigs, the Bad Bubba Shad stood out in 4- and 5-inch sizes for its durability and realistic peanut bunker profile—proving its effectiveness throughout the cold-water season.

March brought some standout returns and all-new arrivals. The long-anticipated Evoke Crankbait – Okie Craw (#99) finally became available across all Evoke sizes. Zappu made waves with its first soft bait, the Limbooo, alongside the return of the legendary PD Chopper. Meanwhile, ima expanded the lineup with four versatile new minnow plugs—Qualy 105F, Rocket Bait 75, kosuke 110F, and Jetty 135S from Japan —originally designed for Saltwater use.

July was packed with exciting new arrivals and refreshed colors. deps introduced the MS CRAW 3.6″, WIGGLE BUG, and the MAD WAVER / BUZZ BAIT, while adding new and reworked colors to the SLIDE SWIMMER 115, SLENDER SCAT 5″, and BULLFLAT 3″ & 3.8″. From ima, favorites were expanded colors with the LITTLE STIK, Skimmer, Rattlin’ Roumba, and BIG STIK, giving anglers plenty of options for mid-summer fishing.

August brought fresh sizes and colors across multiple lines. deps added new shades to the SILENTKILLER 115 and expanded the SAKAMATA SHAD REAL series with 5″, 7″, and 8″ sizes. Swimbait Republic introduced the Glideway 126 in a new size, and the Glideway 176 received a fresh color in the special collaboration Swimbait Republic x Optimum Baits “#24 GAME OVER”, giving anglers exciting new options for late summer fishing.
